In this discussion, I will reflect on a scholarly article I selected and explore the ongoing conversation surrounding its topic. I will consider how I could contribute to this conversation and why it is important to understand scholarship as an ongoing dialogue.

Topic: The main topic of the scholarly article I selected is the use of mindfulness-based interventions in reducing stress and improving the psychological well-being of college students.

Other authors: Two experts besides the authors who have contributed to the conversation in the article I selected are Keng, Smoski, and Robins (2011) and Hwang and Kearney (2015). Keng et al. (2011) conducted a meta-analysis of mindfulness-based interventions and found that they were effective in reducing symptoms of anxiety and depression. Hwang and Kearney (2015) explored the role of mindfulness in academic stress and found that it can improve emotional regulation and academic performance.
